Shefali Tripathi is a certified Senior Police Planner at the Gainesville Police. She has over 17 years of advanced spatial analysis experience in law enforcement, criminal justice, and urban planning. Dr. Tripathi is also a Senior Research Fellow at the National Police Foundation, Washington D.C, and serves as a Science Advisor and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in crime analysis and crime mapping. Dr. Tripathi is a Certified Program Reviewer from NIJ CrimeSolutions.gov. Dr. Tripathi holds a Doctorate in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Geo-information Sciences from Wageningen University, The Netherlands.
