Navya Tripathi is a 10th-grade student at Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Florida. There she is a member of the prestigious Buchholz Math Team, which has won 12 national convention titles including the 2019 title where Navya competed in Las Vegas this past summer. Her interests lie in STEM and she actively participates in the regional and state science and engineering fairs. She has been actively working with GIS since she was in 7th grade(2016). She had won the first place at the High School Poster Competition at the URISA GIS-Pro 2017 conference in Jacksonville, Florida. Navya has been volunteering extensively at various agencies since middle school. For her service to the community, in middle school, she was awarded the “Service Above Self” award from the Gainesville Rotary Club in 2017.
