Ashley Hitt, GISP, is the Director of GIS Services at Connected Nation, a national leader in broadband expansion programs. She develops methodologies for using broadband data to provide solutions that impact policy, economic development, and the Digital Divide.

Ashley is the Program Chair for GIS-Pro 2019 and is an instructor for the URISA GIS Leadership Academy (GLA). She previously served on the URISA Board of Directors (Secretary), is a Past-President of the Cumberland Chapter, and was on the inaugural URISA Vanguard Cabinet.

Ashley has a BSc in Geography/Meteorology and MSc in Geoscience from Western Kentucky University.
