Indra Sharan KC Worked at US Agency for International Development (USAID/Nepal), a first Mission institutionalizing GIS in the program cycle as a Sr GIS Advisor supporting strategic planning, design, implementation, and monitoring of development activities in multiple sectors. Mapped conflicts and natural disasters in the South Asia region for humanitarian assistance.  Helped establish GIS units in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh Missions and supported others including Ukraine.  Developed a system for real-time participatory mapping and monitoring of USAID’s development activities. Built capacity of USAID and implementing partners. Supported the Government of Nepal in mapping international aid and elections.
