Liz Lowe

New Orleans City Park
GIS Technician/Construction Manager Assistant
Liz Lowe has worked at New Orleans City Park for the past five years. She started the GIS program from scratch as an intern, and she continues to help her co-workers organize their data. While out in the field she works with sub-contractors who either have uncovered a utility feature that needs to be recorded or helps them locate a certain feature. A few current projects include: improving the drainage system management plan, setting up digital forms for safety inspections, and creating an interactive map for bench and tree sponsors. As for her time with URISA, this is her third year on the LaURISA board, and her first time volunteering at the GIS-Pro conference. She is glad to see the conference back in NOLA!!
