Kathrine Cargo, GISP is the GIS/Mapping Coordinator for the Orleans Parish Communication District (OPCD) . Prior to coming to OPCD in 2002, Ms. Cargo worked for sixteen years in both public and private agencies as a Principal City Planner and GIS Project Manager. Ms. Cargo has a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New Orleans, and is a past President of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA). I am happy to talk to anyone about URISA, GIS/9-1-1, NextGen 9-1-1, Collaboration/Cooperation, and mentoring young professionals.
